At the hospital

                              I had been to a hospital today, with my sister who is not keeping well. But what I noticed there while I was waiting outside during her examination was funny . I thought I would write about the experience I had.

                       

 So, I was sitting in the waiting area just looking around, and what grabbed my attention there- the men! Men-young and old, who had accompanied their wives,mothers,friends; and even the male staff working in the hospital.

                           

 At a little distance from where I was sitting were three men. I'm guessing they were friends and one among them was meant to get a scan done. As they stood waiting for their turn,they were talking about everything else, mainly gadgets, but the reason why they were there . Unfortunately, I wasn't able to figure out which language they were conversing in till the very end,though I tried so hard.(I think it was Hindi or Telugu or Bengali...). Anyways,the only words I could hear and understand from their conversations were- I-Pads,I-Phones,Samsung 3s,Apple and so on!! In a hospital!! 

                          

Then in the other corner of the area where I was sitting was this man who had accompanied his wife. First of all his attire-a t shirt and shorts which looked like he wears them at home, and a pair of slippers. He receives a call in the middle of the appointment and so he gets out to attend it. Everything was fine until he started speaking on the phone. Either he had forgotten where he was or that is how he normally talks on the phone(which was so annoying). And there he was walking up and down the passage like he was at home and talking loudly like the other person was deaf. I think he has taken Idea's-Walk and Talk commercial very seriously. Fine,at least don't drag your feet while you walk and talk softly!

                       

 And there was also a young handsome guy trying to flirt with the nurse. And the male staff, just looking for a chance to talk to the lady patients. Need I write more?? ;)

Late again!And you begin to rush!!

Brush your teeth,take a bath,

Skip your breakfast,in no time you're out;

He's there waiting for you.

 Reach your destination,yelled at for being late.

You begin to crib,feel sad about your sorry state

It's time for lunch,and you go out with friends;

He remains waiting for you.

Get back home,you feel so nice.

Spend time with your family,play some dice,

Eat your dinner,oh,so full!

Lights out,and you fall asleep.

He's still there waiting for you.

The passing of another day,

Once again you've forgotten to pray.

Prayer makes life that much more beautiful.

RUHI!

I have been waiting for this day for sometime now,it is finally here and it has been wonderful ! 

To see children grow up is such a treat. Today I have been witness to that amazing experience. My little niece,Ruhi,came down today with my sister. Though she was here just a few months back,she has changed so much-she's grown taller,her speech has improved and she doesn't tire of talking!(typical girl eh?) 

But most of all,she looks gorgeous!Her twinkling eyes,rosy cheeks and the silky soft curly hair..ahhh!!She is so Beautiful! 

I just hope and pray that she grows up to be a beautiful strong woman,just like her mother;that she grows in the knowledge and wisdom of the Lord and that she has all the success in her life!May God bless her.

So here it is.....Life is Beautiful!

 And it gets even more beautiful when you have children around you.

Stand a little stronger.Fight a little harder.Do not be a quitter.The wounds will heal.The scars will fade.Time is all it takes. Dont be sad  few are not friends anymore.Some people are not meant to stay.All you need to do is learn.Because everybody has something good in them anyway.
Hold on to your faith.
Hold on to what you believe in.
Don't hold grudges,dont be bitter.
Life is not worth it.
Have a kind heart,be a giver.

A roller-coaster ride

Life is a roller-coaster ride,

When you are in it you are tossed from side to side.

Sometimes you think you could never have been happier,

And sometimes you just sit and wonder;

What am I here for?Where am i heading to?

Is this all there is to it? How will I get through?

All you can see in your life is a huge dent,

While people around look so happy and content.

But know something,they feel the same way too,

They wish they had a life just like you.

Everything in life happens for a reason,

And for everything there is a season.

Whatever the situation in your life-

sorrow,suffering or strife,

just hang in there and never give up.

Walk this beautiful journey of life with your head held high.

Never regret a thing,never sigh.

At the end you will realise it was all worthwhile

                   Honestly,I din't think my blog would still be existing,and I was pleasantly surprised to read my older posts!
                  However,here we are in the month of July 2012.Half the year has gone by..and so quickly!! It always happens,doesnt it? We get through January till June barely looking at the calendar,barely noticing the passing months...and when its June/July,we exclaim,"It's June/July already?I cant believe it!" Why do June/July get all the attention?It's not fair on the other months :)
                  The world is supposedly going to end this year. Atleast that's what the mayan calendar says. But if you would ask me,I dont think the world is going to end. We still have a lot to live! WHAT DO YOU THINK?let me know......
                  And oh!! Life still is B.E.A.U.T.I.F.U.L. :) :)
