While you are passing by a road, you see an old, dilapidated building that was probably somebody's house once. A family lived in there maybe. A young, newly married couple moved into that house a few years ago, spent lovely romantic days and nights. With the little they had, they as if magically transformed the house into a home. And soon their lives got even more beautiful with the cackle of a young child, then two then more. And so they spent their lives in their home sharing happiness and sorrows, pain and gain, tears and laughter- all in that one structure.

Now as you pass by, it doesn't even look close to a home. The building that used to be home is in ruins, shattered, all you can see is piles of rubble and a half broken staircase that once led into a beautiful room. What happened to the happy family that lived there? Where did they all go??

Life is similar to the old broken, dilapidated house. During one point of time all is going well. Things are just the way you planned and they couldn't get any better. Not like there are no tears or sorrows, but nothing so bad that you cannot handle. And then one fateful day everything falls apart, and you feel like that is the end. The beautiful room in your life is no more- it is in ruins. The people you held close to you, are not with you any more, the things that you thought would last forever, sadly end sooner than the others. That's when you find yourself at a dead end in your life and feel like nothing can be better than killing yourself.

After a few months you pass by the same dilapidated structure but it does not look the same. There are people working on it. It looks better now. Oh and look! there's a spiraling staircase this time. The house is being renovated, it is going to be freshly painted and will have a beautiful bedroom once more, pretty chandeliers will lighten up every room in the house and soon another family will move in and make it their Home.

And that is exactly what will happen to your life if you hold on despite all the pain and hurt and if you have the courage to pick yourself up and walk. Because some day your life too will transform with spiraling staircases and pretty chandeliers that will light you up. And then you will feel like you're Home.

Anything that's broken can be mended with Time.

Life Is Beautiful
